Soto Specialty Group, LLC (“SSG”) was founded on September 2020 by Arnaldo Soto, Jr. a Insurance and Surety Bonding Specialist and former partner of Carrion, Laffitte & Casellas and Saldana & Associates Insurance Brokers. Headquartered in San Juan Puerto Rico, SSG provides Construction & Key Infrastructure Insurance and Worldwide Surety Bonding Services for every business need. SSG also offers risk management services to all it’s clients.

Arnaldo Soto, Jr and his family has always been involved in the Construction Industry. His father as Lic. Arnaldo Soto Couto was Head of Construction Lending at Banco Popular for aprox. 45 years and Arnaldo Jr. as a leading Construction Insurance & Surety Bonding broker as a partner of Saldana & Associates, Inc (now Marsh Saldana) and later as a partner of Carrion, Laffitte & Casellas, Inc (now Hub Puerto Rico). After retiring from Insurance for 3 years to establish an Aerospace & Defense Company, Mr. Soto returned to his roots as an Insurance Producer and founded Soto Specialty Group, LLC. He attributes his company’s success to having developed personal relationships projects with many contractors and developers thru his affiliations with the Builders Association, the Associated General Contractors of America, the Puerto Rico Manufacturers Association and the National Association of Surety Bond Producers, among others. He strives to provide a “one-stop-shop” for the entire construction projects and development workflows and contract life cycle, for all types of clients and their customers. Together with his dedicated partners, Soto Specialty has in-depth experience with all types of construction and development contract obligations and how to minimize risk.
Mr. Soto’s service team is used to the fast pace of the construction and development insurance and surety bonding industries which have time continuous time deadlines and constraints. Soto Specialty thrives on the opportunity to be of service and to assist in the planning, negotiation, acquisition, construction and operation of our clients projects.
